Our Kinder sessions have been set up so that you can design a session that suits your class. We have a wide range of activities that focus on introducing scientific principles as well as the idea that science is fun. Our sessions are run by 2 qualified early childhood teachers and an early childhood educator and are designed to fit into the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia. 

Each session includes 5 activities that are run as a round robin of activities. They are designed to be very hands as this is how little scientists learn best! 

 

We require at least 3 adults to assist on the day. These can be staff or parents. If you are unable to have 3 adults available for the hour we can arrange an extra staff member, at a cost, to come to your sessions.

You can look at our list of available activities on the activities tab. We ask you to choose your sessions 1 month before your incursion. We do this for a number of reasons. The first is that we are constantly reviewing, refining and updating our available activities. This occurs as we see what is working well, what we would work better and introduce new activities.  Secondly it allows you to look at what interests your class has and better cater the incursion to suit them. This will allow you to choose activities that suit the interests of your class and your current program.
