About Us

Destination Science Kids is the brain child of 3 local childhood educators. We know from our training and experience that kids are are natural scientist. When children are presented with opportunities to learn through experimentation and doing it is amazing what they can learn. We are passionate about early childhood education and we specialise in this age group.

We want to provide FUN, ENGAGING, and CURIOSITY SPARKING experiences for children.

Jaydine is a qualified kinder teacher, qualified primary school teacher and a girl guide leader.  She has worked with children of all ages and abilities for the last 19 years. She has always loved science and grew up performing science experiments with anything she could get her hands on around the house.  She has a passion for teaching children that anyone can be scientist.

Joining the team in 2019

We welcome Sandy to the team who has been a kinder teacher, educational leader, teacher and director in her long period of service to the the early childhood industry - including teaching subjects in Early Childhood at TAFE . We welcome her extensive expertise (30+ years) in early childhood education the team. 

We also welcome Philip McElroy to the team who has almost 40+ years experience as a science teacher. We are excited to see what new science experiments and concepts he brings to the team as his passion for science knows no limits.
