Welcome to our brand new blog! At Destination Science Kids we want to help bring a passion for STEM to children everywhere. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Traditionally these topics have sometimes been considered boring but we think they are anything but!
We are a small business made up of 3 partners. Between us we have a combined experience of 80+ years in education. We have early childhood, primary and high school STEM teaching experience. We LOVE STEM and want to share that passion with others.
Our blog will support teachers, parents and anyone else working with children to encourage a passion in STEM for children. We will do this by providing information, inspiration, challenges and activities that make STEM engaging, relevant and inviting.
To do this we want your help! Ask us questions you want answered and we will try and answer them. Tell us what your children are interested and we will work on finding and creating STEM experiences that are related. Tell us your experiences so that our community can learn form each other! We are looking forward to building a community that will work together to support each other to make STEM accessible and fun!
